There are 4 kinds of Shovels in Egypt.
- Slate Shovel
- Made on a Carpentry Shop
- Can be used at Digs to dig for Cuttable Stone, Medium Stone, Bauxite and Gypsum.
- Can be used to gather dirt from the ground. Digs one unit, or one level per dig attempt.
- Iron Shovel
- Made on a Carpentry Shop which has been upgraded with a Vice Bench
- Can be used at Digs to dig for Cuttable Stone, Medium Stone, Bauxite and Gypsum.
- Can be used to gather dirt from the ground. Digs one unit, or one level per dig attempt.
- Shovel
- Made on a Anvil and require Blacksmithing and Advanced Blacksmithing
- Can be used at Digs to dig for Cuttable Stone, Medium Stone, Bauxite and Gypsum.
- Can be used to gather dirt from the ground. Yield is dependent on quality of shovel. (i.e. A 9574q shovel digs 6 dirt per dig attempt and 2 or sometimes 3 levels at a hole)
- Archaeologist's Shovel.
- Made on a Anvil and require Blacksmithing and Advanced Blacksmithing
- Used to dig at archaelogical Dig Sites which contain relics.
