How to design the Empty Hand Tower
Solving a Puzzle
See http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale3/Tests/Test_Of_Empty_Hand/How_To_Play
- There are two factors involved:
- Transformations - which change the blocks from what they are now to what they will be.
- Positions - which are where the blocks are placed on the track
- The goal is to change groups of blocks to other groups of blocks (via transformations) until you can clear the track.
- When you hit play, the display area in the bottom section shows all seven possible transformations that can ever occur.
- A transformation only works if the pieces starting from the 'home' position match one of the options in the display area.
- Usually, the top transformation in the display area is the final goal and provides an option to clear the track.
See Test Pass History.
