Empty Detonation Charges are made in the Skills > Assembly menu: "Put together an empty detonation charge."
Cost
- 1 Small Barrel
- 30 Clay
- 30 Straw
Focus timer?
Use
- Can be loaded with Explosives and a Fuse to intentionally detonate them.
- When loading Explosives you get a warning message that says "Are you sure? Arming a Detonation Charge is a one time thing that cannot be undone easily."
- Once armed the Empty Detonation Charge changes to an Armed Detonation Charge and a Fuse can be added (via "Set timed fuse to explode") to trigger the boom.
- Adding a Fuse allows you to set a timer in seconds. Max timer is 10 minutes (600 seconds). During countdown, there is indication for the remaining time before detonation.
- While the timer is running option to "Set timed fuse to explode" is still available. Clicking gives the message "This Armed Detonation Charge is busy. Please wait." XD
- Explosions are the same size as any other explosion. 25 coords out from the center (50 x 50 total area).
- Presumably an Armed Detonation Charge can be defused, but no option is available. (Perhaps tearing down the build?)
