Use
Timer: Focus
Each degree of Carving allows you to carve certain items, using a knife with quality equal or better than that level. It also allows you to assemble the next level knife (so you can craft the tuition for the next level).
When you carry multiple knifes with you and carve, the highest quality knife is used, and if more than one of that level is carried, the one which has been used the least.
- A flint knife breaks at the 25th use
- An iron knife at the 100th
- A sharp-edged knife at probably about 200-300 uses.
Therefore, always use the lowest level knife needed for the item to be carved and unequip higher level knives.
