Roosters are found in the wild by examining Dark Pampas Grass. You must first learn the Avian Selection tech at a University of Worship. They can also be bred in a Chicken Coop.
Use
- Slaughtering a rooster yields 1 Chicken Meat and occasionally Chicken Bones.
- Whole live chickens (and eggs) can be fed to Cobras in a serpentarium.
General Info
- Hens consume less Barley per day than Roosters consume.
- Hens will lay eggs even if there are no roosters in the coop, but the eggs may not hatch if not fertilised by Roosters.
- Listed as Roosters (plural) even if there's only one.

- 100 required for Herpeculture research
Byproducts
Depending on your Arthropodology skill level, slaughtering Chickens may produce Skinlickers, White Sawflies, Toad Sawflies, Bat Mites, Stone Flies, Hairy Slugs and Rose Mites.
