Detailed Ritual
Passing the test requires that the ritual would need to be performed 7 times.
A group of 4 players are required. One player can start the group, and 3 others must ask to join. The order in which a player
joins corresponds to the player's priest number. Priest 1 must ask for the cadaver from the University of Worship.
Once the cadaver is acquired, the members of the group will each receive instructions on their portion of the ritual. Each
player will have one action to perform, as described below. The ritual must be completed within 24 hours or the body will
begin to degrade. If the ritual is not completed, all members must wait an additional 24 hours before beginning the ritual
again.
Ritual Mummification:
Priest 1: Rub the body with salt (approx 50-100 db of salt)
Priest 2: Treat the body with embalming fluid (requirements listed above)
- You will be asked for 2 SPECIFIC ingredients when you pick up cavader (aside from the 12% alc wine)
Priest 3: Apply perfume to the body (random citrus)
- You will be asked for a specific citrus type (10db to cook into perfume in the kitchen)
Priest 4: Wrap the body in bandages (10-20 bandages)
Priest 1: Return to the University of Worship from which the cadaver was obtained and get the mortician approval.
- note: There is option to return body and option to Present Body. I would choose Present. Return body gave me a warning message
that the group would be disbanded if i returned it.
- Priest one received instructions at uni when picking up cadaver (just after forming group).
I think you need to be at uni to see these instructions, I couldn't find them on my test menu after I left the uni.
I returned to uni and had the option of : See cadaver preparation guidelines.
Burial Ceremony:
Once the group have made the mummy correctly, the University will provide the group with information about the deceased from
the family, as well as their wish for the burial, including the alter location they wish the ceremony to be performed.
Each priest will receive part of the ritual and they will need to figure out the proper sequence.
Each priest must; light a brazier with the proper spirit, light incense, recite the proper ritual chant (below), and place the
offering to the altar(random fancy item similar on messenger). After all four priests have completed the ritual in the proper
sequence, all priests must meditate.
Once the ritual is successful, the mummy must be brought to a passed Ka TombKa Tomb and lay it to rest there.
Specifics on info given to each priest, whoever gets this varies:
- priest X info: altar location, sacrifice item all priests make.
- Priest X info: altar location, type of incense needed.
- Priest X info: altar location, phrases each priest recites.
- Priest X info: altar location, type of spirits needed.
Testing to be done to find out order of actions (AFTER you do each action, if it's the correct order you will get a message in main that it's the gods are pleased.
Testing order recommended :
- first recite, if not good,
- try sacrifice
(item won't be consumed if the action is not the correct order for that particular ritual)
- try incense (if no message of god pleased, i usually extinguish burner right away)
- try lighting brazier (usually do this one last since it does consume 5 db of spirits and takes 2 mins to burn out)
Wait for spirits to burn out before testing another item.
Cadaver work
Once we are ready to run to altar , make sure to bring mats for braziers, signs, incense burners
- guild every item or make usable by anyone
- Someone running should have 7 Salvage skill or have the person with highest salvage take down items
to be discussed later :)
