Our roots are in research. We work to coordinate and focus regional efforts. Whether you are in the guild or not, please feel free to work with us on these SE research projects.

If you have materials to contribute and would like to hand them to the guild rather than the university, please feel free to stash them in our research warehouse at 1053, -5609 (just south of the SE CS)

In addition to research, we do some projects. Here's what we're working on now.

South Egypt Deep Well

SEIR would like to build a Deep Well! This is a significant undertaking which will be beneficial to us as a whole, and we need your help.

Any materials you have to contribute can be added to the chest labeled SEIR DEEP WELL in the post office at 1045, -5610 (just south of SE CS)

  • Because deep wells produce pollution, placement is very important. If you have a great idea for a location, feel free to add it here.
    • The hill north of the CS has been suggested
    • South of the CS, in the limestone/white sand area has been suggested as there are no camps there to be impacted

Guild Hall, Resources and Machines

  • Guild Hall: Just north of the CS, coordinates 1051, -5574.
  • Warehouse: Just south of the CS, coordinates 1053, -5609.
  • Metalworks: Just north of CS. Includes 4 student & 1 master forge, 2 student & 1 master casting box, compression furnaces.
  • Tin Mine: East along road from Chariot stop.
  • Iron Mine: Just southeast of UArt along the road that eventually leads to UArch, coordinates 1336, -6022.
  • Sheep Pen: Just north of the CS on the west side of the road, coordinates 1051, -5565. Useful for killing sheep without them running away.
  • 12 Pottery Wheels, 4 True Kilns & 2 Rock Saws: Adjacent to a clay run, coordinates 884, -5562, half way between the Ruined Chariot Stop and UWorship. If there are jugs on the wheels, consider it a gift. :-)
  • 3 Glazier's Benches & 2 Firepits: Adjacent to White Sand / Limestone / Red Sand location, near the Ruined Pyramid, coordinates 1250, -6145, just south of UArt.
  • Apiaries: Slightly southeast of UWorship on top of a hill, coordinates 679, -5636
  • Earthworks: 12 Brickracks, 2 True Kilns 918, -5660
  • Flaxworks: Distaffs, Handlooms, Carp Bench, 630, -5565
  • OSM Quarries (Near CS): 1084, -5815; 1083, -5757; 1094, -5676
