This act details the means by which anything* owned by a Departed Person or Departed Guild may be claimed by a paid account..
Part I: Definitions
Definition of a Departed Person:
1) A "trial" account which has been inactive for 14 days or more.
2) An "Unpaid" account which has remained unpaid for 60 consecutive days or longer.
3) A "Quit" account 60 days after their account goes into unpaid status.
Definition of a Departed Guild:
1) A guild which consists of only departed persons.
Definition of Heirs:
1) Every paid player is already allowed to name 1 player as the 'Heir' of their possessions under the Last Will and Testament option.
Main Law
1) Upon the affected player reaching 45 days of "unpaid/quit" status, their heir shall be notified that the affected player is in danger of becoming "departed". At this point, the heir has 15 days to claim the items bestowed upon them. If these items remain unclaimed at the time the affected player becomes "departed," their posessions can be claimed by any paid account.
2) Guilds with missing elders (but not necessarily departed persons:) In the event that a guild has no paid elders*, all guildies belonging to the next rank that contains paid players will be promoted to elder. All guild elders have the option to adjust their guild's automatic promotion time at the guild hall.
.*This applies when all elders have either:
- quit the guild
- gone unpaid for the length of the 'promotion time'
The default 'promotion time' for a guild will default to 7 days. All guild elders will have the option to adjust the default 'promotion time' at the guild hall. The minimum 'promotion time' will be 0 days, and the maximum 'promotion time' will be 14 days.
