An Speed of the Serpent cocktail is made in a Kitchen equipped with a Grain Mortar. The Chemistry Recipe - Speed of the Serpent is also required.

When consumed, this beverage will give you a free Waypoint.
Drinking the cocktail causes permanent harm. Anyone who drinks it must then consume a glass of cabbage juice once every 28 days, or die. Death is permanent. Subsequent drinks reduce the time between cabbage juice drinks by a decreasing amount:
Shot 1 = 28 days to death Shot 2 - 22 = 1 day less per shot, down to 7 days Shot 23 - 30 = 12 hours less per shot, down to 3 days Shot 31 - 33 = 8 hours less per shot, down to 2 days Shot 34 - 39 = 4 hours less per shot, down to 1 day
You are warned of this before you drink the cocktail, and you will be reminded of the need to drink cabbage juice.
