The Great Scavenger Hunt Begins Saturday, May 29, 2010 12:00 AM All of Egypt Ends Friday, June 4, 2010 10:40 PM It is a beautiful weekend for a scavenger hunt. Scattered across the land are 8 special chests. Clues to each chest's location are scattered near town centers throughout Egypt. Find the clues and you are part way to finding the treasure. Of course, what would treasure be if it were not buried, so pull out your Archeologist shovels and start digging.

For the truly observant, a great prize may be had.

1. ADN - FOUND in central HG by Ari_Bastet
In the land that opens the doorway of the Gods, you will find me. When you chase me, I flee but over time I tire. You will find me standing alone deep in the dryest of deserts. I do not have a body of flesh but I provide the source for all life.

2. Heavens Gate - FOUND at 2055, 3436 by someone already
In a land where the waters lay dormant, travel to a northern locale where the greatest thinking minds of our generation unite and find a place close by where you can acquire some of the basic building blocks of our society.

3. Stillwater- FOUND at 183, 4662 by Neith
The land where the great Nile comes to an end holds many creatures great and small. In life, I am a creature as small as your thumb, but here in my place I could consume my home. The scholars of the arts are in their place nearby.

4. Khmun - FOUND in south CCR -70 4676 by Draim_Bastet, although last used by Ast
Be careful or you might get scratched by this nasty kitty cat. I bridge the gap between art and progress so don't be weary and I hope that heights don't make you bleary.

5. Nomads' Paradise - FOUND in Sinai 3095, 5465 by Zahariel
Travel to the western shore of the Red Sea and you will find circles in a sea of green. Look to the bullseye and a treasure you will find.

6. Shabbat Ab - FOUND in SA 1954 1731 by Amarna (better late than never)
Just below the land of water that is still a land of wonder. A creature of the sea cannot normally walk on land, but here you will find me jumping across the landscape wild and free. Find my nose and a gift you will see.

7. Queens Retreat
In the land of Khmun wars were fought, armies gathered and warred for years. Here you will find find any remaining weapons, but if you look just right you may find a tribute to a war in the land. Find the tip and the treasure at hand.

8. Meroe - FOUND at Saqqarah 1719 -547 by Zahariel 23:30, 28 May 2010 (EST)
In the center of Egypt lies a land of lush green surrounded by the sand but without a sea. East of where our athletes learn is a place that resembles the bottom of a face. Find this bearded landmark and fortune will be yours.
