Egyptian Heptathlon The First
Saturday, July 18, 2009 All of Egypt
Strength, Speed, Endurance, these are the hallmarks of the physical. But what of the mind? Does not clever weight against the strong? We have done this before, but this time we will truly exercise the mind. The event will be very short, so you must plan ahead.
In the Egyptian Heptathlon, there are seven events: Flax growing, Silt Collecting, Slate Finding, Grass Picking, Fishing, Wood Gathering, and Vegetable Growing of any type.
Scoring for each event is done on a curve - you'll get 100 points for growing the most flax of anyone, and about 75 points for growing half that amount. Your score for the Heptathlon is the sum of your individual event scores.
There will be 10 Island Blue Marble to the first place finisher
200 Brass will go to the Top 7
77 Cuttable Stones to the Top 21
and 21 Bronze will go to all who participate
Nikomedes: The winner of the first Hepthalon is Ajars with a score of 231. The rest of the Top 21 are: 198 Kiya, 188 Sesnut, 185 RaTBoY, 175 Injeru, 172 Sefet, 171 Mortality, 170 Nori, 164 Nissim, 155 Iy-Nefer, 151 Frisha, 149 Toldy, 144 Tanafri, 144 TreekaSu, 142 Tunnen, 138 Bearly, 136 Menat, 134 Akrian, 132 Elvodel, 113 usia, 113 Naia
