Found growing on sand, on rock and on grass. No obvious terrain preference.
Found at 894 -3665 in a group of 3 on Year I ShemuII-11 4:35PM -- cory0210 20:40, 26 March 2009 (EST)
Found some on sand (near road though...) Seemed to despawn at 4:35- Orrin (despawn time confirmed - Ephemere)
Found group of 3 at 1374, 1782 (SA) at 3:12pm Year III, ShemuII. Grass/clay near river. -- Arcania December 25, 2009
