Iron ore can be found in several places in Egypt in the form of underground iron veins. These can be located using the Dowsing skill and a Dowsing Rod. Once a vein is found, ore can be extracted with the Ore Extraction skill after building a Mine on top of the vein.

- 7 required to learn Ore Extraction (Second Degree) from The People's School of Architecture
- 5000 required to research Metallurgy
Use
You can smelt Iron Ore in a Furnace to make Iron, which is an important resource used in creating many items, buildings and tools.
