Why redirect catfish and the other specific fish pages to a generic fish page? I think it's more useful to have a page for each fish type which can list what each fish is useful for, even fishing spots for each type if people wanted to add it. Fish could still link to each of the individual pages, or use the Category:Fish. General info applicable to all fish could be put on the skill page. Spicy 02:52, 23 December 2008 (EST)

There is not enough distinguishing information on a per-fish basis to justify having a page for each one. On the few pages that did exist prior to adding the redirects, they were all the same: "A type of fish caught using a Basic Fishing Pole." The map is on this page, so people can still add fishing spots for each type of fish, and the list of uses is small enough that they can all be put on this one page. T4 fishing spots seem to be pretty much the same as the T3 fishing bands as described here: http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale3/Guides/Fishing The bands themselves appear to have shifted slightly to the north. The width and angle of the bands appears to be the same though. --AmisiBastet 17:07, 10 March 2009 (EST)
