Talk:Vegetable
The discussion on the bottom makes it confusing!
I don't understand why it couldn't have taken place here. This is not T3 wiki anymore - we don't have to squeeze discussion into the same page with central information. Help me and other users by uncluttering wiki pages and keeping talk to the discussion pages? A great and simple guide is at Help:Talk pages --Nipaeri 14:56, 20 December 2008 (EST)
- Thanks for the information Nipaeri, I'm a wiki noob myself so all this comes in handy. *grovel grovel* --Tobel 17:46, 22 December 2008 (EST)
Reproduction Methods for Seeds
I've been hearing rumors that you can reproduce seeds if you and a different gender person plant a seed and grow the vegetable near an altar. Are there any confirmed successes with this? --Tobel 17:37, 22 December 2008 (EST)
- Tested cabbage seeds near common altar near other sex. Methods included male planting first and tending, female planting first and tending, planting after prayer (both genders), alternating planting/watering with both genders, praying after each step. No additional seed gains.
-Different seeds will have different reproduction methods. In T3, Onions could be reproduced by growing near spouses, for example. For a veggie to have two completely different and unrelated requirements for seed production seems a bit excessive, even for Teppy. --Nekojin 17:40, 22 December 2008 (EST)
--For clarification: It's very possible that one veggie could reproduce when it's being grown next to someone of the opposite gender, and a different veggie could reproduce by being grown close to a Common Altar. It's very unlikely that both requirements are for the same veggie. --Nekojin 19:41, 22 December 2008 (EST)
Cabbage Seed Reproduction
Can be reproduced when multiple herbs are near where you plant (2+ herbs). Thereshia has confirmed this fact.
Onion Seed Reproduction
Keep your endurance red while watering and harvesting. Having it red for only harvesting does not work, haven't tested other way around (watering only, not harvesting). I've done this with digging dirt nearby and working a nearby flax comb. I get 0 onions 2 seeds. --AmisiBastet 10:55, 8 January 2009 (EST)
