I'm really starting to think there is a formula that determines certain flavors using palate, wine glass, and Grape stats (quality and/or acidity). There are vineyards I have tasted through 3 vintages and didn't detect anything more than vegetables. I grew all of the vineyards with Contemp (150+ quality) grapes and I finally got a fluttering of Asparagus off 1 of those vineyards. That might also explain why some folks are seeing pineapple and others are not. I've got 8 vineyards with flavors I have yet to detect a secondary taste on. --Darien 20:40, 13 March 2009 (EST)
The secondary flavors I have yet to detect are from:
- Tropical Fruit
- Floral Notes
- Vegetables
