Coarse fibers produced from flax processing. Primarily used to spin into twine (and then into canvas or rope).
Source
Obtained by raking rotten flax on a Flax Comb or a Hackling Rake. Tow is the second byproduct of rotten flax.
Uses
- Used for compound expansion.
- Spun in a Small Distaff or Large Distaff, produces 3 Twine per 1 tow.
