ATITD in General

• I am an older newbie, having played for several months in T1 and then again very briefly in T3. When I joined Bastet, right at the beginning of the shard, I had forgotten pretty much everything I had learned in the previous tellings, except how much I had loved fishing and beetles.
• The two of the three passions I have in this game are, not surprisingly, fishing and beetles. The other passion is people. These are not necessarily the right order :) I love to chat and am somewhat social. I enjoy passing tests, but talking to people and sharing with them, helping if I can, are more important than tests.
• Moderately competitive, I have sought the role of Demi-Pharaoh three times, the second of which I advanced as far as the finals before coming in third behind Daniels and Draim. • Like any other MMO I have played for any length of time (EQ, EQ2, WoW, EVE Online, DAoC, Vanguard), I am making friends on ATITD whom I will treasure for years to come.
• My stomping grounds are in Saqqarah not to far from the Conflict Shrine near the TMEG property. My camp is on Eye Lake proper. I love this place and find enormous peace and quiet under the sun or under the stars, fishing or just contemplating the beauty.

My Guilds

BEETLEMANIA (also known as BUG, which stands for Beetle Uber Guild) - Elder and Founder.

• BUG is an Egypt-wide guild devoted to all things bug-related and is specifically for beetle-lovers everywhere.
• The other two elders of this guild are Ari and Mydnight, both very knowledgeable about beetles. Members are invited to ask their questions, anywhere from breeding beetles for color and pattern, to beetle cannabilism in the terrarium, to increasing percentage of ownership. One or the other of our experts will have an answer. My job is to administer the guild and make sure the guild is meeting people's needs.
• The guild has a wiki-page all its own, under the webmastership of Jeremiah. Everyone is invited to view the information we provide, including beetle garden show numbers, at: http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale4/Beetlemania
• Membership is open. That is, anyone can join instantly, as long as there are enough spaces left. If there are not enough spaces, notify me or one of the elders and we will work with the membership to upgrade the membership capacity of the guild hall.

THEOPOLIS MINERALS EXPLORATION GUILD (TMEG) - Elder

• This great guild is a cornucopia of resources, both material and people. It offers the teamwork I am looking for. The members of this guild are knowledgeable, fun to work with, and ready to back a team effort with everything they've got. Teamwork's the key; satisfaction is the reward.

FRIENDS INTERNATIONAL - Elder

• This guild was originally started to that my in-game husband Tuttom and my good friend XacVI and I could all talk together. At the very beginning of the game Xac and I built cp's close to each other. When I married Tutt, it became obvious that the three of us were going to be friends and needed someway to pull everything together. We named it Friends International because I am from Canada, Tutt is from Brazil, and Xac is from the U.S. Unfortunately, neither one of the guys were able to continue playing due to business and school pressures. Maybe in T5. However, I kept the guild running in case either of them comes back.

C 2 C - Patriarch

• This is a new guild for me and may be the Egypt-wide communication I have been looking for. There are business communication channels (B! which is monitored, RNN, Bazaar), but C2C seems to be for sharing and exchanging information on the game and just fun chat.

Two Guilds that are not Active ATM - Elder

• Theopolis - Originally intended as an Egypt-wide communication channel for heads and leaders of guilds, it doesn't seem necessary anymore. So there it sits, a monument to forward planning that didn't come about. There may be a use for it yet :)
• Wadjet-Bast (also called WaBa) - Originally started by Zoser and Zoseretta, it was willed to me in order to enable my stewardship of their estate in Saqqarah. It is not open for membership and is now strictly to enable me to look after their property.

I love breeding beetles. I have never gotten close before to exhibiting in previous Tales, but it looks like I will make it this Tale. Here are some shots of my beloved beauties.
