DAPC Amendment One

(aka DAPC-A1, or Fragile Chest Cleanup Act, or FCCA)

I. This law is the first amendment to the Departed and Absent Player Cleanup law (DAPC). Anything determined in this amendment will not negate the contents of the DAPC and will be considered an addendum to the DAPC.

II. A player who has been marked as an Absent Player will become a 'Permanently Absent Player' after 31 days, counting from the moment that his/her status changed to Absent Player.

III. Once a player becomes a Permanently Absent Player, fragile chests as created under the DAPC will become salvagable by any citizen of Egypt (with a paid account).

IV. In order to salvage a Fragile Chest, the player performing the salvaging will use the Salvage Techniques skill and the salvaged contents will be determined by the level of this skill.

Remarks

  • The purpose of this law is to be able to clean up and/or salvage any Fragile Chest that would otherwise remain in its current position and not be able to be removed.
  • In effect the DAPC only replaces obtrusive buildings by Fragile Chests without the possibility to actually clean them up in the case of absent players. This amendment repairs this gap in the DAPC law.
  • This law still allows absent players to return to the game for 2 x 31 days and reclaim any in-game Fragile Chest they own.
