Seasonal Wheat Info
Notable Wheat Statistics
Yield and harvests info is based off my own testing. I've tried to keep conditions similar but due to lag, slow reflexes, and other general randomness results may vary.

Current Theories
- Output yield bonus: More GR gene sets = larger yield when harvesting.
- Seems to be a 1:1 linear growth. Vodun (10xGR) produces on average 10 times more wheat then Santeria (1xGR).
- To grow on dirt, at least 1 is required. Not sure if this affects yeild on all terrain types.
- Dirt: GR, RY, and YO
- GRYO is the shortest gene set to meet this requirement
- Sand: ***In Progress***
- Must be at least ORRGY as Tunnen#50 shows. Has ORRG still but lost the O from the ORRGY(U) portion and is not able to grow on sand. (*Needs to be revisted*)
- Still haven't fully determined the Sand gene set, though further testing shows it's not isolated to one gene set. (See Tunnen#131-Tunnen#138)
- Replacing gene 1,2,3,4 or 14 (Palo) prevented growth on sand. (Haven't tested to see if it was due to breaking a set, or introducing a new set)
- Since modification of gene 5 and 6 (Palo) did not affect growth on sand, ORRG seems to be required. Need to look at or retest my note on Tunnen#50 as these results conflict.
- Gene 14 was an interesting find, since I was not expecting that mutation to affect sand growth, this may lead to the "Eureka!" moment that similarly affected my success with the dirt and yield gene sets.
- Further testing to determine if the surronding genes 13/15 also affect sand growth, or if replacing 14 with a gene other than O or Y will also affect it
- Strangely enough, changing 14 to R allows it to still grow on sand. (Tunnen#141)
- Also tried modifying 13 to O, then making 14 to Y, still doesn't grow on sand. So assuming YY may be to blame. (Tunnen#148)
- Started testing every combination of genes to try to start narrowing this down, as I'm still having problems finding a common gene among those that grow on sand and those that don't. Starting to think there is a variable I'm missing. Hopefully these tests will help.
- Gene 01: O - G,R,U Fail; Y to be tested
- Gene 02: R - G,O,U,Y Fail
- Gene 03: R - G,U,Y Fail; O to be tested
- Gene 04: G - R,U,Y Fail; O to be tested
- Gene 05: Y - R Fail; O Success; G,U to be tested
- Gene 06: U - G,O,Y Success; R to be tested
- Gene 07: G - O,R,U,Y to be tested
- Gene 08: G - R Success; O,U,Y to be tested
- Gene 09: Y - G,O,R,U to be tested
- Gene 10: R - G,O Success; U,Y to be tested
- Gene 11: R - G,O,U,Y to be tested
- Gene 12: U - G,O,R,Y to be tested
- Gene 13: R - O Success; G,U,Y to be tested
- Gene 14: O - G,U,Y Fail; R Success
- Gene 15: Y - G,O,R,U to be tested
- Gene 16: G - U Success; O,R,Y to be tested
- So far both gene 5 & 14 are causing mixed results. Will be intersting to see what G or U will do in gene 5.
- Trying to take a look at a possible non-sequential pattern. A theory of OxxxY looks like it may work. It would explain the oddity of Tunnen#50 and why modifying Palo gene 5 to O still works. (Gene 9 is Y). To test this I'll see if I can remove the O from gene 1 of Tunnen#137 and have it still grow. Also try changine gene 9 in Tunnen#137 to see if it'll stop growing on sand. This doesn't explain the Palo gene 14 oddity, though it may remove another varible from the equation.
- Grass: Limited research - OYOY?
- Changing gene 4 or 6 prevented growth on grass (Tunnen#68/74)
- Much more testing required
- Clay: Unfortantly I was taking a break from wheat research during the only season (Shemu) that had Abacau
