Vignes d'Une Agence de Mise en Bouteilles

Translation: Vines of One Bottling Agency
At some point, this may be a guild. Until then, it's a loose coalition of growers attempting to band together to make great wines that may or may not span the Egyptian nation. Anyone is free to contribute grapes to batches, which will be aged and distributed according to mutual agreement.

Vignes d'Une Nomenclature

Each block of vineyards is assigned a name. Each bottle will be labeled Vignes d'Une, followed by the names of contributing vineyards, the number of vines involved, and a descriptor. Each descriptor will give you some important information - while this isn't technically the right way to name wines, it's fun, unique, and at least interesting. Oh, and it's totally pidgin French. If you have any recommendations on complicating the nomenclature, send me a /chat in-game or go to this page's talk page. Thanks.

Vignes d'Une Vache, <names>
There's no guarantee on quality, alcohol content, or flavors. These are mass-produced batches meant for satisfying experimentation data.

Vignes d'Une Premier Cru, <name>
Guaranteed to be at least 10% Alcohol, drawn from the second-most prolific vineyards available. Still no real flavor trends, but things are being mapped out at this point.

Vignes d'Une Grand Cru, <name>
Guaranteed to be at least 12% Alcohol, drawn from the most prolific vineyards available. Stronger and more specific flavor trends, and still working out the vineyards' personalities.

Vignes d'Une Vieille Vignes, <name>
Guaranteed to be at least 14% Alcohol, drawn from the oldest (and thus, best-understood) vineyards available. Definite flavor trends and concrete goals.

Vignes d'Une Parfait Rouge, <name>
Guaranteed to be at least 14% Alcohol, and of the highest quality possible at the time of bottling.

Vignes d'Une Parfait Bleu, <name>
The highest class of wine available through Vignes d'Une Agence de Mise en Bouteilles.

Examples of Names

Vignes d'Une Vache, deux-courez des Jean et Ines
A mass-made batch of wine with no particular flavor trends or specified goal. This particular batch uses two varietals from the Jean and Ines vineyards.

Vignes d'Une Premier Cru, sept-courez des Pascal, Yves, et Corinne
A quality batch, but still without specific goals. Uses seven varietals from the Pascal, Yves, and Corinne vineyards.

Vignes d'Une Parfait Bleu, un-courez des Anais
The best wine available via Vignes d'Une Bottling Agency, of one vine from one vineyard.
