Springs are made on an anvil. The quality varies just like for carpentry blades.
Break point for a 3x spring is somewhere around 8500 quality. Break point for a 4x is somewhere between 9075 and 9220. (Iy-Nefer)
Research and Tuition
50 Quality 5000+ Springs, 25 Quality 7000+ Springs, and 10 Quality 8500+ Springs are required for Advanced Automation at University of Architecture
