Guilds/Egyptian Ecological Society
The Egyptian Ecological Society (Eco) is a guild dedicated to researching the ecology of Egypt. Our primary fields of interest include the study of the effects of agriculture and industry on ecology, and -- in turn -- the effects of human activity on agriculture and nature.
Joining
Our guildhall is at 1419, -1193, south of the Seven Lakes chariot.
Members are expected to show an interest in performing basic research to address topics of ecological curiosity, around Egypt. You need not join us to take advantage of our findings: We will publish everything for the benefit of Egypt.
Principles
In Eco, we don't believe in rumors, voodoo, and hasty generalization. We believe in cold, hard data. If you suspect something is the case -- prove it!
Long-Term Plans
We would like to create standardized testing methodologies for documenting both the environmental impact and the environmental sensitivities of various crop strains -- including new hybrid strains developed by the people of Egypt. We would also like to be able to publish evidence-based guidance for sustainable agriculture practices.

Suggested Topics of Study
- Clinker pollution: Myth or Fact? - Myth. No dropped items cause pollution change. only thing I see here that would cause pollution is the lack of masonry while cooking as the clinker is wasted into the atmosphere.
- Ecological effects on mushroom species emergence and propagation. - Mushrooms rely heavily on pollution levels soaking certain pollutions and creating others... will only spawn under certain conditions.
- Baseline flax strain sensitivities
- Baseline flax strain effects
- Baseline vegetable strain sensitivities
- Baseline vegetable strain effects
- Detailed environmental effects of industrial equipment
Feel free to add suggestions (and take credit for your idea)!
