Possible locations for Gold Reali Tiles
Gold colour is saturation 100%, hue 51.
Two areas may have gold colour, but not on existing clay spots. One is far south-east Sterope/north-east Maia, the other one is eastern Maia.
My best bet is around 4120,-6500 in Maia. - Solaris
Colour Theory
Each oven has a certain hue and saturation (HSL model) that remains constant throughout the burn process. The hue and saturation depends on the location of the oven, but the correlation is not simple.
The colour map is split into rectangular blocks, separated by the lines x={0,4096} and y={-6144,-4096,-2048,0,2048,4096,6144}. Within each block, the hue will not change drastically, but the saturation does. In each block is a line upon which the saturation goes from 0% to 100%. At either side of the line the saturation changes gradually. Saturation = 100% are found at these lines. The hue changes gradually at all places within the block. The colours in a block is not correlated to the colours in other blocks, meaning that the change of colour over a block boundary is unpredictable, and most likely drastic. Close to the block boundaries the hue cannot be trusted.
Full Saturation Line
The line of full saturation may be found once the saturation function is known. The nature of this function is unknown at this point, except that it seems to be forced to be within the 0-100% limit with a simple modulus 100%. Placing ovens at the corners of a block will give you an idea of where the maximum saturation may be found.
Known Ovens
