Greetings!
Originally from the Bastet server, I transfered to Tale 5 only a few months ago with some friends. (Now we form the Bastet Hounds Guild). My primary passion in Egypt is glassblowing and glassmaking. I also enjoy the Test of Pyrotechnics, Thought puzzles, and crossbreeding flowers. I am always open to helping people in any way that I can, so please chat me anytime. I reside in Alcyone, at 1748, 2478. It's a short jog north of the chariot. My thought puzzle and Art coordinates can be found in my /info.
Glass Services
I sell most glass products, but I do not use a trading point system. I prefer to work out a trade that is fair and considered what the buyer has available to trade. My products include:
- Thermometers
- Barometers (5k, 6k quality)
- Hookah bowls (will assemble into finished hookah with your 14 canvas)
- Chemistry Calibration kits
- Distillation Coils 7.5k quality
- Wine glasses (sorry 8k quality and down, I need more practice)
- Mirrors (with your 200 silver powder though)
I am also willing to sell sheet glass, glass jars, glass pipes, glass rods, glass knives, glass torches. Bulk orders are subject to approval :)

I am currently buying materials needed to continue my work with characterizing mutagens. This includes:
- Mushrooms (Sand Spore, Slaves Bread, Razor's Edge, Peasant Foot, and Salt Water Fungus).
- Cobra Skins (as many as possible)

Star Labs
I am hoping to help Egypt make better use of its Portable Star Labs. I see so many of them laying around unused, or used as decorations. They are meant to be used and returned to a university of Art (preferably Sterope). I have a Law Petition circulating to help us use them more effectively. Please remember they are used for opening new Star recipes only...they are NOT part of the Principle or Test of Pyrotechnics!! They are given out in a limited amount, so they are a precious resource. Mutagenics Research
I am trying to help characterize the mutagens that are being researched. Specially, I'm trying to determine which gene ranges are swapped from the left and right splints. I won't bore you here with genetics theory, it is all explained much more clearly elsewhere on the wiki. But I would like to make my data available to others that share this interest.
This is my first time doing this, so PLEASE chat me if you think I am doing something wrong. Right now, our guru's of genetics are not playing, so I don't have a good source to verify this with. I welcome all input!!
Fuzzy, Hairy, Spongy
Tay 06 recipe, Renard opened
TEST 1: Nile Green / Nile Green Unmutated Genome:
- K(OR)GR(GYGYGY)GRGY(OR)YYRG(RO)YY(OR)RK
- 1 weed/1 water/1 seed/2 flax/0 rotten
applied mutagen. (Ava 33/Ava 34) Observed:
- Left Spoint: 1 weed/1 water/1 seed/2 flax/0 rotten
- Right Splint: 2 weed/0 water/1 seed / 1 flax/ 0 rotten
Right splint was affected in (GYGYGY) gene, specifically NOT the middle GY genes. Left splint had a junk gene swapped.
Solvents on Right Splint showed:
- RYY
- RGYG
- GGRG <-- that pinpoints it as the third Y in (GYGYGY) being replaced with a G
Right Genome: K(OR)GR(GYGYGG)GRGY(OR)YYRG(OR)YY(OR)RK
- gene targeted was 10/26.
- gene range is 9.5/26 to 10.5/26 or 35.185% to 38.889%
- also reveals that a "Y" gene was moved to the left splint
Solvents on Left Splint showed:
- KOR
- ORRK
- RGY
- YYOR
- ROOY
- ORYY
- GYY <--- proves it
- Looking for where a junk G was replaced with a Y gene, and no new genes were created. (Phenotype was not altered)

- gene range is 10.5/27 to 11.5/27 or 38.889% to 42.593%

applied mutagen. Observed:
- Left Splint: 1 weed/1 water/1 seed/2 flax/0 rotten
- Right Splint: 1 weed/01 water/1 seed / 2 flax/ 0 rotten
Both splints had junk genes swapped.
Solvents on Right Splint showed:
- GGYG <-- that pinpoints it as 12th gene, R being replaced with G
Right Genome: K(OR)GR(GYGYG)GG)GY(OR)YYRG(OR)YY(OR)RK
- gene targeted was 12/26.
- gene range is 11.5/26 to 12.5/26 or 42.593% to 46.296%
- also reveals that a "R" gene was moved to the left splint
Left Splint:
- Looking for where a junk G was replaced with a R gene, and no new genes were created. (Phenotype was not altered)
Solvents on Left Splint showed:
- ORGR
- GYGY
- YGYG
- YORY
- RYYR
- ROYY

- YRR <--- confirms G --> R switch. Only two places it could be. 11th or 20th.

- gene targeted was 20/27
- gene range is 19.5/27 to 20.5/27 or 72.222% to 75.926%
TEST 2: Silken / Clarity (Ava 28, Ava 29)
- phenotypes: Silken bulb unchanged, Clarity had a cyan gene broken.
- Left splint: Silken Genome: KRRROOOYYYGGGUUUIIIK
- left target 72.222%-75.962% is 13/18 gene --> 1st U.
- Right splint: Clarity Genome: KIRIRIOIOIYIY(GORR)GRORGRRO(GORR)GRORGRROK
- right target 42.593%-46.296% is 16/36 gene --> 2nd R in the first cyan gene set (GORR)
- resultant right genome: KIRIRIOIOIYIY(GORR)GRORGRRO(GORU)GRORGRROK
- we know now what left genome is, since it's U was replaced with an R from Clarity:
- resultant left genome: KRRROOOYYYGGGRUUIIIK
These results are compatible with observations!! (not confirmed with solvents, just observation and TEST 1 results)

- so far, no conclusions made

- Right Splint: 0 zeed!!
Right splint had no gene groups broken, but gained an additional gene sequence of RRGY Left splint had the (RO) gene group broken.
Solvents on Left Splint showed:
- ORR
- GYG
- YRR <-- that pinpoints it as the third G directly after (GYGYGY) as being replaced with an R
Right Genome: K(OR)GR(GYGYGY)RRGY(OR)YYRG(OR)YY(OR)RK
- gene targeted was 11/26.
- gene range is 10.5/26 to 11.5/26 or 38.889% to 42.593%
- also reveals that a "G" gene was moved to the left splint
- Left Splint:
- The phenotype revealed that the (RO) seed gene was mutated.
- The right gene results show that an "R" gene was switched w/ a "G" gene.
