Cela devrait déjà vous permettre de déterminer les premiers voids simples en faisant des essais sur la colonne verte jusqu'à obtenir le bon résultat.

Of course, it may be "complicated" to try to adjust voids in thistlesims and to compare results on your garden at the same time, so I suggest you do a printscreen at tick 9,19 and 29 so you can compare afterwards quietly !

Revision as of 16:03, 11 October 2010

Adapted and / or translated from Dresdor's Guide and from Ephemere french guide.

Silk

Thistles are used to feed silk worms to produce silk and can be given to sheeps. It seems that best output is obtained by putting 1K thistles in each Silk farm.

Thistles bases

Before going on with this guide, make sure you understand the bases. You can read this nice guide written by Dresdor to understand the bases [[http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale4/Dresdor%27s_Thistle_Guide ]]

ThistleSim

One tool you're gonna need a lot is a thistle recipes simulator. It can be found here : http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale4/Image:ThistleSim.zip

Its an Excel worksheet with 45 sheets ... Don't get impressed, you'll mainly need "Master".

Start by inputing actual week's voids : in the green column (on the right, under title "daily voids") replace 1 by 0 for all active voids. Then, you just need to run the simulations ONLY in the grey part on the left : do not modify yellow parts ! Thats where computations are done ; those tables hold the same information than the one you see on yout thistle garden. You just need to modify the grey part to try to find a nice recipe.

How to determine actual voids

You will need to do several tests. Choose a period of the day where sun does not change : for example midnight (for the night tests) and 11 am for daily tests. You will need to have thistlesim open at the same time as you run 1 of your garden, so you can compare results.

  • First test : you will need to do this three times : first time at sun 0, second at sun 33 and third at sun 99.
    • At tick 0 add 3 H2O, 3 OXY

Follow progression on garden and on thistlesim. Adjust voids (green columns) on thistlesim, until you get same results as on the garden.

  • Second test (again, you will need to do this three times : first at sun 0, second at sun 33 and third at sun 99)
    • Tick 0 add 3 Nit, 3 Pot, 3 H2O, 3 oxy
    • Tick 10, add 4 Nit, 4 Pot, 5 Oxy
    • Tick 20, add 4 Nit, 4 Pot, 5 H2O
    • Tick 25, add 3 Oxy
    • Tick 30, add 4 Nit, 4 Pot, 5 oxy
    • Tick 35, add 3 H2O

Follow progression on garden and on thistlesim. Adjust voids (green columns) on thistlesim, until you get same results as on the garden.

Of course, it may be "complicated" to try to adjust voids in thistlesims and to compare results on your garden at the same time, so I suggest you do a printscreen at tick 9,19 and 29 so you can compare afterwards quietly !
Once you run all those tests and successfully found voids which allows you to get same results in ThistleSim as on your garden, congratz ! you have the weekly voids !
Don't hesitate to chat me in game if you have questions ! Good luck :)
