This skill allows the starting of fires in a Firepit, using flint and a Firepit loaded with tinder and wood.

Firebuilding skill starts at level 1 when first learned. Successfully starting a fire will occasionally cause a skill increase, up to a maximum level of 7. A higher skill increases the chance of starting a fire successfully.

Failure to start a fire may have no effect (other than having to try again), or may result in the loss of tinder.

To Learn

Requires Controlled Burn and a tuition of 4 tinder to learn at a School of Leadership.
