Let me tell you a bit about myself.

JaylenaeYbarre (sorry for the difficult name lol) but Jay or Jayle is also fine :)

Am playing almost 1 year now, so I started at the end of tale 4.

Sofar I've been working hard with guildmembers on research in Sterope.

So a dp, what defines a dp? Tough question, one can say he's a mediator, a problem resolver but it's farmost a good listener first. They should try - when certain issues/grieves come up - try to solve it and keep the game enjoyable for all of us. After all a DP is chosen by the people of Egypt.

Does it have to be one who played this games since ages? don't think so, a relatively newbie can be a dp as well as an oldtime player.

About the bans: yes they should be part of the game but not always immediate, fi depending on the issue, a ban for 1 month, so things/chars can cool down and think about it. When the same issue comes up again, a 2nd ban 1-2 month, 3rd time trouble with same char: is permanent ban - some bans should become permantly at once.

In the debates I often see the same questions: What do you think about Casino's actions/stripping his powers? Are you planning to stay in the game till the end? What do you think about queueing for obi? What kind of grief deserves banning? What can you do as a dp? Why should people choose to vote for me?

and more

About the former bans

About the ban from Casino. I can certainly understand that one can get to the point that he/she thinks: this is it, you grieved me so much I'm gonna ban you. I can also understand that he - even before all the commotion on Egypt began - maybe thought: my decision was to hastily but unfortunately I can't undo it :( (hence my earlier comment: some bans shouldn't become immediate)

The one about Richer I can understand that the ban was immediate, without a doubt, causing grief by blowing up a cs, affects all of us.

Am I planning to stay in the game?

As far as I can see in the future yes, but RL can kick in hard. So honestly it could be that I'm voted for as DP but next month I need to stop playing.

Why should people choose to vote for me? The role of DP can fit me like a glove just like it can fit for all my fellow candidates.

Sofar I haven't grieved, offended or cheated on anyone.

I'm trying to help people as I can or refer them to someonelse or a guild that has better answers.

What kind of grief deserves banning As said earlier, the grief that Richter did yes - should jumping queue deserve a ban: NO - after all this is a game and a game can be competitive. Verbal abuse: this depends

What can I do as a DP For me it is certainly not about passing a test, because if I would pursue tests, I wouldn't be involved in research but keep all that stuff for myself. Form a guild with all the DP's - probably is one already - so they can talk about issues that arise - in private. I didn't like the commenting on Egypt when Casino's actions came out. Lots of people threw with mud without even know the whole issue. Certain rumors started: it was for this, it was for that - by the end of the day it had become the size of a tsunami.
