Tale 5 has launched!
- Pharaoh has left us with these words.
Pharaoh: Citizens of Egypt... Pharaoh: The last few years have been difficult ones for our people. Pharaoh: It is said that in the past, Egypt had great artists, leaders, philosophers. Pharaoh: And while some might want to follow such paths, the needs of the people are more immediate. Pharaoh: I believe that Egyptians are a hard working people, and that through shared sacrifice, we will be able to overcome the current economic malaise. Pharaoh: A curious happening... Pharaoh: Scientists are reporting to me that a mysterious stranger has been visiting them, talking of an ancient philosophy, long discredited. Pharaoh: This Stranger talks of the Seven Disciplines of Man, and has convinced a minority of our scientists to revive that philosophy through a series of Tests. Pharaoh: I can not imagine that any Egyptian might find themselves so lacking in productive work, as to pursue these. Pharaoh: However I believe these Disciplines, and this Stranger, to be harmless. Pharaoh: ---

Merope Friday Night Dig
Next Dig @ 6:00pm CST Friday September 24, 2010 in the Bullseye in Merope
Direction for the Non-Meropean
Follow the road southwest from the Charriot Stop to the Blue Square (Clearly seen on your map).
Turn south there and follow the road to the Bullseye.
The dig with be @ coords -1832 6675 or close by.
Please bring your shovel and some grilled onions if you have them.
There will be shovels and grilled onions at the event for you new folks who are not yet set up in game.
There will be an equal share for all who arrive within 40 minutes of 6:00pm. Late participants will get a half share.
One Share and Odd stones goes to the Garden of Eden Guild.
There will be free chickens available for a lucky few who need them.
Please remember to empty your items before coming so you can carry your stones home!!!
Last week the divy was 132 cuttables and 21 medium stones for each participant.
