Festival of Plenty
Begins Sunday, August 15, 2010 8:00 PM All of Egypt
Ends Sunday, August 15, 2010 9:00 PM
Behold this fair land, oh ye inhabitants of Egypt. Watch the sleek fish as they flow through the water, the waterfalls which sound with the tongues of the angry dead, the trees which stand mighty, towering over all. From the lush green grass of the banks of the almighty Nile, to the furthest wastelands of the deep desert, the gods watch all that happens, and forget nothing. Remember that, oh my children, they do not forget.
But for now, the time is that of celebration. This land once again is united under the guidance of the embodiment of the god himself. Pharaoh, life, health and strength be to him, now rules supreme. To celebrate this and to pay homage to the gods for their guidance in the years passed, Egypt shall hold a Heptathlon. Gather all the wood, grass, flax, vegetables, slate, silt and fish that you can during the hour decreed by the gods, and pray that you gather enough of each to score the highest. Mind that you do not focus on one area alone, for the gods do not love mindless brute strength. For the best score, participate in many activities.
May the gods look favourably upon you all.
Akhet-Iah, Priest of Egypt
