We'll miss conversation from our DP round due to play times and time zones, so I thought we should have a place to highlight stuff, share notes, etc.

murtha: Been playing since tale 2 beginning. i fell in love with the game and the community and that's what keeps me here. I spend most of my time making egypt pretty and helping new players find their AH HA moment:) I alsolike to organize 'fun' and humours events for ice breakers. I also spend alot of time answering chats from other players and even a few time times -standing DPs, for advice and help.Actually DP is what i do on a daily basis anyway, and i'll continue to do so, whatever happens here.

Osh: I played for awhile in t4 and then needed to leave. Not many people know me that still play hence i have been running my campaign on "Get to know me by asking the people i play with if they think i would make a good DP" My main guild is PKURFLAX. I am also a Gen Games Officer in a multi mmo guild called "The Old Timers Guild" 2k+ members. I am looking to be a fair minded DP that understands that even though this is just a game the people in it are real and should be treat as such.

Osre: This is my fifth tale. I enjoy a wide variety of Egypt's offerings and don't really specialize too much. I also play only a few hours each week (3-20) and so I'm always "behind" other people, but if I can keep the right mind-set, it doesn't bother me. I'd like to be Demi-Pharaoh because I think it would be interesting to occupy a more central social role than I ever have. I'm not sure that it would force that, but it couldn't hurt. Also, I'm a well-adjusted, fairness-minded parent who thinks that equity and fun are the most important things when playing a game like this. If DP provides a platform with which to gain attention, I'd like to champion laws that would really change the game. (To be honest, these are often laws that would *never* pass, but even raising ideas into people's consciousness is worth while. A mild example would be to make all property-ownership transparent (i.e. anything that can hold resources works like a display chest). This wouldn't harm people who have nothing to hide, and would be kind of interesting. A much more dramatic variant would be to make all buildings that contain resources public.)

• As an aside, my round two group included two past DPs and they thought I was good enough to vote for...you should too! ;-)

Sabuli: I started playing the tale in t2 and I did it with a great intensity, to the point that I finished Oracle of 4, passing 45 of the 49 tests. However, in that moment DP was one of the few tests that didn't attract my interest. I spent a lot of times working in a huge orchard instead -- thing that I'm doing again in this tale, btw :) I hope to have it ready when festivals start.

RL issues forced me to quit after a few months T3, and I returned to Egypt in the last months of t4 (where I started to gain interest in the DP, seeing them as mediators more than banners). In RL I have several times acted as mediator and that's the reason I reached the conclusion that I could be a good DP.

And I also realized that I had real chances, because a lot of people know me (mainly in this tale where I've been acroing like crazy with all Egypt), even the French community (I speak French and I have a lot of friends among them).

It would be neat if each of us could ask questions in a more orderly way than catch-as-catch-can in our chat tab. That's what this space down here is for.
