In to 8:00 to 9:00 AM hours, I caught several fish at the lake around -94, -2126 (south west of camp). Using Mud Asp (Glazed) lures, I caught: Catfish, Perch, Chromis, and Carp ranging in size from 7db to 1db. On average, I was getting one fish every 5 or 6 casts with failure messages on the non-fish casts. -Detour

Throughout the 10 AM hour, I walked west from the above mentioned lake to the T-junction of streams and then south from there to the series of lakes that ends the N-S stream. Along the way, continuing to use the Mud Asp (Glazed) lure, I still caught the same fish in roughly the same sizes where I cast 5-7 times.

Around 11 AM I stopped at -204, -2391 and switched to the Spittlebug (Glazed) lure. After about 15-20 casts, I hadn't caught any fish there, but about half of my casts came back with "You almost caught an odd fish, but you were too late recognizing the bite." Intriguing. Working my way back north to the T-junction was much the same story. Until I got to the actual intersection and then I caught a 2db Carp with my Spittlebug (Glazed). But one fish out of several dozen casts is not great.

On a lark I decided to wander the area and look for an herb that might give me speed and see if I could catch that odd fish. Ended up also catching a 1db Chromis and a 1db Carp with the Spittlebug (Glazed) lure.

Fishing

Collecting some fishing notes, or at least known good spots and lures. In the 8 to 9 AM hours (game time), I caught several fish at the lake around -94, -2126 (south west of camp). Using Mud Asp (Glazed) lures, I caught: Catfish, Perch, Chromis, and Carp ranging in size from 7db to 1db. On average, I was getting one fish every 5 or 6 casts with failure messages on the non-fish casts.

-Detour
