Scattered across the land are 8 special chests. Clues to each chest's location are scattered near town centers throughout Egypt. Find the clues and you are part way to finding the treasure. Of course, what would treasure be if it were not buried, so pull out your Archeologist shovels and start digging. For the truly observant, a great prize may be had.

Wahim will provide a hint to the location of the final Monument to the one who pleases the most Scientists. Furthermore, that winner will receive a Stone Phoenix of Thought that they must show to Wahim to claim the hint. A pool of 100 Wings of Horus will be awarded based on total Favors gained, and a pool of 500 Lime will be awarded as a participation prize. Note that the word "Participation" in this context is still a competitive prize, but all yyou need to do to rank highly for Participation is interact with many of the 7 Event Characters plus Wahim.

In the days of our forefathers they strived to build great works. Wonderous momument to all that the people have achieved. Alas, the sands of the desert are a cruel mistress. At first they are just a tickle floating the in the breeze, then a gentle lapping at your feet. Soon it turns to an embrace to smothers you, until at last you have a tomb. But there is a force greater than even the sands of time, the will of the people. Through strength and persistance we can uncover these great works, so that all may bask in their glory once again. You will need an Archaeologist Shovel to dig up the monuments. For the person that discovers each monument, there is a Craftsman's Fishing Pole. For the person that turns the last shovelful to uncover it, there is a mining pick. For the person that does the most work on a given monument, there is a Huge Gem. For the person that works on the most monuments, there a Geb's Silver Sickle for that person, and two others should there be a tie. The Top 63 on the number worked on will receive 3 Pepper seeds. By lottery for the number worked on there will be 21 portable cornerstones, and by lottery for the total amount of work done will be another 7 portable cornerstones. For each one there is also a prize based on proportion of the total work you have done such as cuttable gems, papyrus, and other items.

Your lands master chefs will prepare meals to offer to their fellow Egyptians. This meal must be based on the fruit of bee, the delightful nectar called honey. Honey must comprise the largest single ingredient of the meal. Chefs will be judged on how many people taste their creations. But fear not my culinary challenged friends, you will not be left out in the cold. There will also be prizes for gourmands among you. You will get points based on the dishes you sample. But be warned, some dishes will not appeal to you and you can become overstuffed. Chose your meals wisely. Using the power of your mind you will contest control of a simple object with your opponent. If you are stronger, your influence prevails. Bit if you are the weaker, your opponent controls. Be wary though my friend, your power is limited. Don't spend it all too soon. So come, test the power of your mind against your fellow Egyptians. Travel to the Spirit Arena from any Conflict Shrine to test your mettle. This will be a Tug tournament with three games per match, one match win to advance your standing. Lost three matches and you are eliminated. The prizes will be: One Microphone Fragment to first place. Microphone Fragments are but one part of a microphone. Three fragments are assembled to create an United Microphone. 3 Wings of Horus for the Top 3. 7 Glass Sheets to the top 14. 10 Leather to top 500. Lottery: 1 Cornerstone to each of 7 people.

Begins Saturday, March 20, 2010 3:00 PM All of Egypt Ends Sunday, March 21, 2010 7:00 AM Run for the Hills is an event to test not only how fleet of foot you are but also your planning. In the Events Channel (/join Events) every 30 minutes a Phoenix Stadium will be announced. Be one of the first 7 people to tag the stadium you will get a small model phoenix statue and a small prize. There will be a total of 28 stadiums announced, and they can be anywhere in Egypt. You have 30 minutes (until the next stadium is announced) to get to the stadium, so plan your route carefully. You can use some of your travel time, but only 16 hours in total. For the First 7 Tags per stadium: 3 Medium Stones The Most Total Statues: A Mining Pick The Most Different Kinds of Statues: A Craftsman's Fishing Pole (by lottery if a tie) For the Top 500 Different Kinds: 14 Lime By Lottery for Different Kinds: 1 each Portable Cornerstone to 7 people
