This year's model is Hekatef V, descendant of the legendary Oracle of Thought from the distant past. Raised by jackals after he and his family were lost in a sandstorm, he was eventually found and returned to civilization, where the scribes at the Universities managed to discern the boy's parentage (an arcane procedure involving cabbage juice, Nut's Essence, and a petri dish). His grandfather, Hekatef IV from the previous tale, took his young relative into his care and began the laborious process of educating the youth.
