Insects are any of a variety of bugs, worms, slugs, and assorted creepy-crawlies used to make fishing lures. They are collected automatically in the course of various basic tasks once one has learned the Arthropodology skill. They may be stored in chests like any other resource.
Beetles, found wandering outside, are a separate thing and have their own page.
