User:Zamses/Crossbreeding/Vines
A little explanation is in order. I name my vines as I pretty much hate the nomenclature of Zamses #152 etc. I only name lines that I find useful to myself or potentially useful to others.
I have certain goals in mind usually with wine making in mind. There are a lot of vines out there that are a ton of grapes and sugar. Which is nice but there are other properties of wine that are important or fun to play with. I also like to custom make some vines to fit needs like high tannin wines for the Alembic.
Ultimately I intend to mix various grapes to make some of my wines. Call it an experiment. Thus I will run a mix of vines with different properties like high quality, or high sugar, etc. to get what I am looking for in terms of an end product. A lot of my cross breeding with grape vines is based upon my habits of making wine.
