Principles of Worship: Sinai Route

This route assumes that you can purchase a skill or tech from School of Leadership or School of Harmony. School of Thought and other schools are possible, but may require a boost to speed to finish within the time limit. School of Leadership is used for the example below.

Preparation

Aspirant One will perform most of the actions, and needs the following items:

• tuition for that skill
• the ability to build a Ritual Torch, or someone who can do it for you
• 1 Small Diamond
• 1 Camel Milk
• 1 Flax Seed
• 1 Water in Jugs
• 1 Beetle
• 1 Grilled Fish
• 1 Twine
• 1 Board for the Ritual Torch
• 1 Canvas for the Ritual Torch
• 1 Oil for the Ritual Torch

Aspirant Two will recite most of the invocations, and needs the following items:

• the ability to copy and paste, or type various invocations
• 1 Twine
• 1 Water in Jugs
• the ability to learn a skill from School of Leadership (e.g., Project Management Level 2) or School of Harmony (e.g., Conflict Shrine Construction).

Route and Ritual

(1) Altared States

Start at the Common Altar at 2185, 5748.

Aspirant One, place a small diamond on the altar's left pillar (its left, not yours).

Aspirant Two, place twine on the altar's right pillar.

Aspirant One, Meditate on the altar.

Take back the items.

(2a) Stand Fast for Bast

Move to the shoreline and find a spot where grass is touching the water, such as 2140, 5800.

Aspirant One, drop 1 Camel Milk on the grass.

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Bastet, who teaches grace and elegance!

(2b) My Sis, Isis

At the same grassy spot:

Aspirant One, plant a Flax seed (you don't need to harvest a full bed, just plant it).

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Isis, whose seed is forever fertile!

(3) Osiris, Desire Us

Jog north to the mine at 2335,5903.:

Aspirant One, drop a beetle into a mine (click on the mine to call up the menu).

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Osiris, who was Reborn like the Scarab!

(4) Rah Rah Ra

The Aspirants will split up briefly to save time.

Aspirant Two, run to the School of Leadership at 2250, 5530. When you arrive, just wait for Aspirant One to do his or her thing.

Aspirant One, run far into the deep desert. 2370, 6070 is a good spot. (Switch to F6 and pan the screen. You should see only sand in all directions.) When you arrive, light a Ritual Torch.

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Ra, of the Blazing Eye!

Aspirant One, start running back towards the altar at 2185, 5748.

(5) An Oath for Thoth

Aspirant Two, learn your skill from the School of Leadership.

Aspirant One, copy and paste:

Praise Thoth, the Magician who created Science!

Aspirant Two, return to the altar at 2185, 5748 and meet up with Aspirant One.

(6a) Amen to Amun

Aspirant One, eat a grilled fish.

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Amun, who gives us reason to celebrate!

(6b) Chorus for Horus

Aspirant One, use the Bless emote.

Aspirant Two, copy and paste:

Praise Horus, King of Egypt!

(6c) Keep Yer Panth-eon

Aspirant One, place twine on the left pillar (not your left, the shrine's left).

Aspirant Two, place a Jug of Water on the right pillar.

Aspirant One, Meditate on the altar.

Wait for confirmation, then remove all items.

Celebrate!

Tips

You have 25 minutes to complete all of the rituals. Grilled cabbage will lend you speed on long runs.
