This building becomes available after you have learned the Metallurgy tech.

Use

Uses Charcoal for fuel.

Operation

Can load up to 5 Charcoal which each provide 1 minutes of firing time. It is possible to load less and start the reaction and then top it up but you are still limited maximum of 5 total.

Current "fire and forget" recipe is 200 ore and 5 charcoal yields 2 metal.
With 200 ore and 5 cc, if you open the chamber at approx. 3min 45sec when it says 2 metal, you can get 2 metal and 1 cc back.

Smelting Times

The following section lists detailed information on the amount of time required to produce 1 or 2 metal. The amount of CC that you start with or add has no effect on the amount of time it takes. Only the amount of ore used determines time. You must provide enough CC to reach the time required.
