- Gather Mud near a Shoreline

- Dry Grass into Straw (Drop menu)
- Make Bricks using a Brickrack
- Get Flax Seeds from a School of Art and Music
- Plant Flax Seeds
- Let the Flax Bed go wild, and harvest Seeds

- Wood = 10 (Small Distaff)
- Boards/Wood = 38: 4 (skill) + 4 (Flimsy Brick Rack) + 18 (Flax Comb) + 12 (Small Distaff)
- additional 1-3 Flimsy Brick Racks as they wear out
- Flax = 20 (skill)
- Flax/Rotten Flax = 21: 1 (Tow/Twine) + 20 (skill)
- Bricks = 136: 36 (Flax Comb) + 100 (Small Distaff)
- Thorns = 60
